Dear patients and fellow physicians,

We've launched our new Web site, a user-friendly resource for doctors and patients. Descriptions of common gynecological disorders and their symptoms are supplemented by various treatment options and an extensive listing of reading and other resources patients can use to educate themselves about their health and doctors can reference for their own practice.

In addition, we've expanded the discussion of disorders and treatments with photos and video clips that help patients understand their own anatomy and provide visual examples of what they might be experiencing.

For doctors the site includes the above resources and details of our fellowships and workshops (see below for upcoming workshop opportunities).

Great News

At this year's Annual Clinical Meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Philadelphia, we were honored to win first place in the educational video competition for our video, Laparoscopic Safe Abdominal Entry and Complications. In laparoscopic surgery, the entry is one of the most important steps--done wrong, it can lead to injury and complications. Our educational video is designed to help physicians master that critical step, and the College recognized the value of the video to the medical community with this award.

Special News for Doctors

We offer workshops designed to keep practitioners up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of advanced operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Held in Palo Alto and Atlanta, these three-day workshops include lectures, observation of live operations, and hands-on laboratory sessions. There are still several dates in 2004.
