Dr. Elizabeth Buescher hails from the state of Colorado. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. After graduation, Dr. Buescher was an AmeriCorps volunteer teacher in Alabama. During her time in AmeriCorps, she received a Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Buescher then decided to change careers, and in 2007 she graduated from New York Medical College. After medical school, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center on Long Island. Ultimately, Dr. Buescher would like to pursue a career in minimally invasive surgery with an emphasis on providing care to the uninsured.
