Louise P. King completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital after receiving her MD at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Before becoming a physician, Dr. King completed a JD at Tulane Law School and practiced law for five years specializing in constitutional and criminal appellate law as well as devoting a large proportion of her time to pro bono service. During medical school and residency, Dr. King combined her legal and medical training to publish in bioethics. After her fellowship, Dr. King hopes to pursue an academic career in gynecologic minimally invasive surgery and bioethics. She lives with her daughter in Palo Alto.
