Dr. Parsa was born in Tehran, Iran in 1976. He moved to the US in 1990. He graduated from University of North Florida in Jacksonville with a Bachelor of Science. He did one year of graduate studies in biomedical sciences at Barry University in Miami, FL before getting accepted at Ross University School of Medicine in the Carribean Island of Dominica. His residency training was from 2005 to 2009 at Jersey Shore University in Neptune, NJ. He did two years of private practice from 2009 to 2011 in Manahawkin , NJ before deciding to do a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
