Dr. Erica Schipper was born and raised in South Dakota, where she attended both undergraduate and medical school. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Schipper then crossed the country to serve as a staff obstetrician/gynecologist at Naval Hospital Lemoore in central California for three years before moving to the bay area. She looks forward to a career in minimally invasive gynecology and academic medicine.
